New Zunes In Time For Christmas
There are informed rumors everywhere that Microsoft is about to offer are least two major additions to its Zune line of portable music players.
One model has an 80G hard drive giving you plenty of room for all your music plus lots of video, photos, etc. At that size it also has enough capacity to back-up files or move them from an office PC to home for example. The largest current Zune has a capacity of 30G.

Price Of Xbox 360 To Drop $50 In Early August
We admit that this has more to do with gaming than music, but after our recent articles on waiting to buy new electronics until closer to Christmas and waiting a couple of months to subscribe to XM or Sirius while the government approves a merger, this news seemed to fit.
There is pretty strong evidence that sometime around August 8th the price of the Microsoft Xbox 360 will drop by $50. It comes in response to a recent Sony Playstation price drop and amid rumors of some kind of Xbox/Zune music player hookup.

Be Careful What You Post On YouTube
Posting your vacation or birthday party footage on the popular video sharing site is one thing, but you may want to resist the temptation to add your favorite Twisted Sister song as a soundtrack.
The non-profit Electronic Frontier Foundation has filed suit against Universal asking a court to protect the “fair use and free speech rights” of a mother who posted a short video of her toddler dancing to a Prince’s “Lets Go Crazy”. Last month, YouTube informed the mother that it had removed the video after Universal claimed that the recording infringed on a copyright owned by the company.
