Apple Cuts iPod Prices

There has been no formal announcement yet, but Apple which keeps a very tight leash on retail pricing appears to have let Amazon and other online retailers drop 30 and 80G iPod prices drop about 8%.

Its not clear yet if this is to make room for new models or just a plain old price cut. Either way you’re the winner.
