Some very cool guys (the founder of blogs Engadget and Gizmodo teamed with Gnarls Barkley’s label Downtown) have started a record label/blog called RCRD LBL that they think will revolutionize the music business.  And the good news for us music fanatics is that they are giving all their music away as DRM free mp3’s!
Advertisers are paying to make this possible, but who cares?  You and I get great music from hot young bands at not cost. Some of the acts you may already know and now their giving away a few tracks each for free.  Download bands like:

You have to try out Songza. Type in almost any song title or artist name and in seconds you’ll see a list of versions.  Click on it an listen to if for free.  Not a 30 second sample, but a full length version.
There are also cool features to create playlists and share songs on your web site or blog.

Watch what you click on when visiting you favorite MySpace page.
Computer hackers are adding unauthorized links inside images on some MySpace pages. Click on it and instead of seeing a video you may be taken to an offshore site that asks you to download a piece of software to view the video or download a song. Do not download that file and close your web browser as fast as you can. I like to unplug my computer from the net and reboot.
