They like telling us that music isn’t selling – after all we’re all trading it illegally on the net or so they say.  But somehow, a whole bunch of releases managed to sell enough to get a Gold (500,000 units) or Platinum (1 million units) certification from the Recording Industry Association Of America (RIAA).  Included in the list are a some great classic acts finally getting their due and a couple of names I’ve never even heard of.
