If you don't have the primary computer, you can do this: Since I already have an application called InVisibles, I can view hidden files on my mac and iPod. If you turn on this or a similar app that shows hidden files, you can go into finder, click on the go to your iPod (plug it in first), and in one of the hidden files there is a unix file that says "_locked". A little browsing and I found that you can easily plug in your iPod into your computer, open it from "My computer" in Windows XP or Right Click and choose "Browse Folder" in Ubuntu, and navigate to: YOUR IPOD NAME/iPod_Control/Device/ Then, you should find a file with the name "_locked" or something similar.
