You may know Last.FM as a site where you can build your own personal net music stream. Like Pandora, you start with an artist you like and the station starts playin. Over time by adding artists and praising or rejecting songs you build a stream of music that fits your tastes.

ZUNE UPGRADE 2.3 IS HERE 
You bought a Zune.  It works OK, right?  Well for no more money it can work better.
All you’ve got to do is plug it into your computer and grab a free upgrade that fixes some issues of the player crashing and using Zune Markeplace.  Learn more here and then grab the software here.

There are a number of web sites and specialty search engines that help you find and download free mp3’s. But our current favorite is seekmp3.info is a great search engine that helps you find music you like on the web, listen to and and download them.
None of the songs are hosted on seekmp3’s servers. This search engine crawls the net for tracks.and then enables listening and downloading. Try Seek MP3 here.

One of our favorite ways to find music on the net, Seeqpod crawls the web like a Google for tunes and quickly returns searches of artists or songs.
A separate company, Songbeat has even written a little piece of software that lets you (and this is a legally gray area) download what your listening to on Seeqpod.  (Download it free here)
You can use your computer to instantly search for music on Seeqpods front page, but now they’ve also created a “button” that for iPhones and the iTouch that  enables  the same easy access. Here are the instructions:

Greens EFA, a coalition of two parties that has 42 seats in the European parliament, have launched a pro-filesharing campaign dubbed “I Wouldn’t Steal”. The gaol is to counter what they feel is the  anti-piracy propaganda of the music and film industries and to encourage people to download and share. Here’s a commercial created for the campaign:
