- “How Do You Do” – Mouth & MacNeal. If you don’t remember this song, click the video start button at your own risk.
- “Mickey” – Tony Basil. After the third time she sings “Oh Mickey you’re fine. You’re so fine you blew my mind. Hey Mickey!” my headed explodes.
- “Mac Arthur Park” – Richard Harris. The first time I heard this extremely talented actor “sing”, I thought he was joking. Sadly, I was wrong.
- “I Want Candy” – Bow Wow Wow. Fortunately there was no “I Want Cheesecake” follow-up single.
- “Rock ‘N Roll – Part II” – Gary Glitter. Two good things happened when Glitter got convicted of having sex with minors in Thailand: a sicko was taken off the streets for awhile and sports teams around the world stopped playing this awful song. Glitter also has the dubious distinction of being on my “Top 10 Musicians I Wouldn’t Want To Switch Places With” list.
- “99 Luftballoons” - Nena. What does this song mean? Why bother?
- “Take On Me”- a-ha. This mid-1980’s song is almost anthem for a several period of totally soulless pointless music. Do you think the band printed their name in small letters hoping no one noticed it was them?
- “I’m Too Sexy” – Right Said Fred. Listen Fred, you’re really not all that sexy. In fact you’re down right annoying.
- “Vanilla Ice” – Ice Baby Ice. I can”t decide which I hate more: this song or the fact that it gave this annoying human being a career.
- “You Light Up My Life” – Debby Boone. To think, with one song she managed to surpass her father Pat for the schlock crown.
