Coldplay will make the single “Violet Hill” from their new album “Viva La Vida” available as a free download via their web site  (here)  for a week starting at 7:15 a.m. EDT Tuesday, April 29th for one week before it goes on sale.
The band’s site will also share details of free shows at London’s Brixton Academy on June 16 and at New York’s Madison Square Garden on June 23. The new album will be released June 12th worldwide.
