I don’t think that the designers of the Belkin TuneCast II FM Transmitter for MP3 Players were thinking straight. It connects directly to any earphone jacks or to an iPod docking to transmit a FM signal for use in your car. Ideally you would just get a MP3 Player for your car but hey this works too. Well here’s the problem: The thing drinks battery juice like it’s cough syrup and if you want to attack a power source you need the  matching Belkin Mobile Power Cord which is another $12.99 you’re better off just getting an all in one FM transmitter like the iriver AFT 100 Mobile. It’ll cost the same but save on wire clutter and batteries.
