How To Save On Ipods, Zens, Zunes & Portable Players

by User Imagebhoughton on January 22nd, 2008

UPDATED: Want to save 20% to 70% and more on your next Ipod, Zune, Creative Zen or other portable music player? It’s actually pretty simple. Buy refurbished direct from the manufacturer or wholesaler. Refurbished can mean many things. Sometimes its returned merchandise after someone changed their mind or from a store that bought to many. Sometimes its a broken player that has now been fixed. Often its just that they made too many; so they discount to make room for the next model.

Most “refurbished” players are guaranteed to look and play like new. Usually the guarantee provided is the same as if you bought new, but is worth it to read the fine print. Here are some inks and sample savings:

  • Apple iPods - 4G iPod Nano was $199 now $99 80G iPod was $349 now $219
  • Creative Zen - 40G Zen Touch was $299 now $89.99 30G Zen Vision was $299 now $149.99
  • RefurbDepot - 40-80% off Samsung, Toshiba and other brands

Or type refurbished + (brand name) in Google and start searching for big savings!
