Rip Vinyl Albums To Your Computer Or iPod
Ever wish you could convert that stack of great albums gathering dust in the corner to mp3’s playable on your computer?
Thanks to a line of turntables from Numark you can. Several models enable ripping tracks to your computer that can then be transferred to any portable player or ripped to CD. But the latest model adds a dock that allows you to rip straight into your iPod without any computer needed.
It’s kind of pricey at $449, but if your pile of vinyl is big enough you might want to spring for it; and you also end up with a pretty decent turntable. You could even start a little weekend business ripping your friends albums for a few bucks each and add to your own mp3 collection while you’re doing it.
