Xbox Prices Drop $50 As Predicted

As we predicted you last week, as of August 8th Microsoft will lower the price of the xBox 360 bit $50. At a new price of about $349.99, Xbox 360 includes a 20GB hard drive, wireless controller and an Xbox 360 headset.  The Xbox 360 Core System is now priced at $279.99. The 120GB hard drive Xbox 360 Elite will now be priced at $449.99.

In anticipation of this year’s blockbuster Halo 3 game launch, the Xbox 360 Halo 3 Special Edition Console will hit store shelves in September with a suggested price of $399.99. Featuring a Spartan green-and-gold finish, this console will include a matching Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, Xbox 360 20GB hard drive, Xbox 360 Headset, an Xbox 360 Play and Charge Kit, and more
